From the moment I saw Jen’s Facebook page I knew I was going to enjoy photographing her wedding. Something about her clothes, tattoos and style in general really sparked my interest and I couldn’t wait to see what she and, her now wife, Jo had planned for their big day.
Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Bushey Hall Golf Club in Hertfordshire, again this venue had me excited from the first day I saw it and with Jen and Jo’s many personal touches it certainly didn’t disappoint. One of my personal favourite features of the day was the wedding cake, supplied by Auntie Daisy’s Cakes, it featured seven tiers of six different flavoured and brightly coloured cupcakes, topped with hand-made replica’s of Jen and Jo (complete with converse trainers!)
In keeping with Jo, Jen and all six of her bridesmaids were also wearing white converse and ankle socks, just hidden by their floor length Lilac dresses. In fact lilac and shades of purple were the common colours running throughout from flowers to centre pieces and more. All complimenting Jen’s stunning ivory wedding dress by xxxxx.
I left Jo and Jen’s wedding soon after the reception meal and a few brief but heartfelt words from the new Mrs and Mrs Cleasby and family. I have no doubt that they had an absolutely amazing evening after I left (if the photo’s on Facebook are anything to go by!) I am truly honoured to have spent this special time with Jo and Jen and am extremely happy with the photographs, I can only hope that they enjoy looking at them for many years to come.
